A landgrab is underway in the pay TV space: Providers of all shapes and sizes are racing to sign up as many customers as possible to their respective video services. However, a day may soon come when subscriber growth alone won’t pay the bills, and providers instead will begin looking at ways to eke out additional revenues from their existing customers. How exactly that will play out – and what services and strategies will get the job done – remains to be seen.
